Job summary

Bloom Behavioral Therapy seeks a licensed Child and Family Therapist for school-based roles. You will provide individual and family therapy to children and caregivers, with notes meeting insurance standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at the school site.

The role emphasizes clinician wellbeing, supervision, and opportunities for CEUs, with on-campus office and full admin support to focus on client care.

Qualifications

• Active LMFT-A/LMFT license required.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication highly desirable.
• Experience in a clinical counseling role with children.
• Ability to conduct sessions in Spanish if needed.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide individual and family therapy for children and caregivers usingpsychoeducation and evidence-based interventions for a variety of diagnoses.
• Write comprehensive clinical notes that meet insurance standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, supportive clinical team, and school.

Qualification Requirements for this Child and Family Therapist position:

• Active LMFT-A/LMFT License
• 1 year of experience post graduate school
• Passion for working with children and systems
• Experience in a clinical counseling role
• Fluency in bilingual (English/Spanish) therapeutic communication is highly desirable! (not required)
  • Ability to conduct sessions in Spanish ie. provide interventions and psycho-education on various diagnosis/presenting issues.
