Job summary

Bloom Therapy Center seeks a Child and Family Therapist for our school-based program in Greenville, SC. You will provide individual and family therapy to children and caregivers, using psychoeducation and evidence-based interventions, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and the school.

Qualified candidates hold an active LMSW or LMSW-CP license with at least one year of post-graduate experience. Spanish-English bilingual communication is highly desirable, though not required.

Qualifications

• Active LMSW or LMSW-CP license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is highly desirable.
• Ability to conduct sessions with children and families in school-based settings.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide individual and family therapy for children and caregivers usingpsychoeducation and evidence-based interventions for a variety of diagnoses.
• Write comprehensive clinical notes that meet insurance standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, supportive clinical team, and school.

Qualification Requirements for this Child and Family Therapist position:

• Active LMSW/LMSW-CP License
• 1 year of experience post graduate school
• Passion for working with children and systems
• Experience in a clinical counseling role
• Fluency in bilingual (English/Spanish) therapeutic communication is highly desirable! (not required)
  • Ability to conduct sessions in Spanish ie. provide interventions and psycho-education on various diagnosis/presenting issues.
