Job summary

University of Missouri (MU) Extension and Engagement seeks a Senior Program/Project Support Coordinator to manage the CDC HOP program across New Madrid, Scott, and Mississippi Counties. This full-time role collaborates with Extension Specialists, faculty, and local leaders to implement policy, system, and environmental changes enhancing healthy food access and activity.

It requires coordination, data collection, and reporting across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
• Preference for content area expertise in policy, systems, and environmental change, nutrition, physical activity, or health.
• Master's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for community trainings and meetings for the CDC HOP program.
• Lead local project implementation with Extension Specialists, campus faculty, technical assistance providers, and community members.
• Gather impact data and assemble reports, including press releases and conference presentations.
• Represent the program at internal and external meetings, as needed.
• Maintain and extend partnerships with program collaborators and potential collaborators.
• Assist in managing annual program county budgets, ensure funds are spent appropriately, and invoices are submitted on time.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
