Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in Decatur, IL seeks a CCUS Technology Engineer to lead safe operation of CCUS wells, pipelines, and surface facilities. The role provides engineering leadership for drilling, maintenance, integrity management, and regulatory compliance to sustain asset performance.

You will support MOC processes, risk assessments, and project execution while coordinating with operations, maintenance, and project teams to optimize reliability and safety across CCUS assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Five+ years of experience in oil and gas, gas storage, CO2 injection, CCUS, or related operations.
• IADC WellSharp Supervisory Well Control Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for CCUS wells, pipelines, and surface facilities to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Monitor and analyze operational data such as injection rates, pressures, and equipment performance; recommend improvements.
• Lead drilling, completion, intervention, workover, and regulatory readiness activities.
• Develop designs and specifications for facility, pipeline, and well modifications.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and corrective action for issues.
