Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest in Midwest City, OK, is seeking an RN leader to coordinate unit staffing and clinical objectives.

You will supervise nursing and support staff during shifts and contribute to staff development and performance evaluations. The role requires a nursing degree and one year of RN experience, with responsibilities spanning patient care assignments, collaboration with AP providers, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• One year of registered nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments, ensuring population appropriate patient care is given.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
• Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
• May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing and evaluating staff.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
