Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift on a per diem basis in Florida. The RN will provide high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients and coordinate their care based on the nursing process.

The role includes attending meetings, adhering to policies, and assisting patients, families, physicians, visitors and staff in a professional manner. Required Florida RN licensure with BLS; ACLS and Basic EKG may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN licensure.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and Basic EKG may be required.
• Prior clinical experience in the area of nursing practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinates the patient's experience and care using the nursing process.
• Reports for scheduled night shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and communicates information discussed.
• Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure.
• Assists patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees professionally.
• Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
• Demonstrates ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.
• Maintains environmental care standards.
