Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nurse program.
• Active RN license in Florida.
• BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (AHA) within 90 days for inexperienced RNs
• NIH Stroke Certification within 60 days of hire or transfer
• PALS within 90 days of hire or transfer
• Basic EKG, Critical Care Course & Trauma Course within 6 months for inexperienced RNs
• TNCC within 18 months of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides safe quality care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth/development needs of the patient.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
• Implements nursing care plan.
• Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.
• Assists in organizing Patient Care Activities.
