Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift per diem coverage in Florida. The RN will provide safe, high-quality nursing care, coordinate patient experiences, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BLS; ACLS and EKG interpretation may be required for telemetry units. BSN preferred, no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN
• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe nursing care to all patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate the patient's experience and integration of care to discharge with optimal outcomes.
• Direct care according to safety, risk management, infection control standards.
• Attend meetings and communicate information communicated at meetings.
• Adhere to corporate, regional, hospital and departmental policies 100% of the time.
• Assist patients, families, physicians and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow infection control procedures at all times and adapt to varied patient populations.
