Job summary

Inframark is hiring a CCTV Technician Operator in the Conyers, GA area. You will operate remote CCTV gear, inspect pipelines, and supervise confined space entry for rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting work, and coordinating with supervisors and clients. The role requires at least two years of trenchless installation experience (robust preferred), valid driver’s license with clean record, and may require or prefer a CDL.

Qualifications

• Two years of trenchless installation experience, including robotic tap cutting preferred.
• NASSCO PACP and MACP certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; CDL preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV cameras to assess sewer pipelines and determine cleaning/repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized TV truck and monitor tool/equipment condition.
• Perform confined space entry per safety procedures to install and finish liner ends.
• Maintain and process project paperwork for office/supervisor/client review.
• Troubleshoot and repair cameras, robots, and related equipment (cables, connectors, reels).
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients, and homeowners during operations.
• Transport crews and equipment in company vehicles.
• Prepare sites with hoses and traffic control for workflow.

As a CCTV Technician Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of remote cutting equipment, pre and post-video inspection of pipelines, and supervision of confined space entry procedures. You’ll locate lateral connections within a pipeline, and assess the operating conditions and reinstatement of laterals after pipe rehabilitation.

The starting hourly pay depends on experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate remote closed-circuit cameras to record the internal condition of sewer pipelines and determine if cleaning and / or repairs are required prior to rehabilitation
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment within the TV truck including fluid levels and service condition of tools and equipment
• Confined space entry utilizing Insituform’s safety procedures to install, cut and grout the ends of the liner
• Maintain, complete and control paperwork related to a project for presentation to the office, superintendent and / or client
• Maintain, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform authorized field repairs to cameras, robots, and ancillary equipment such ascables, connectors, and reels
• Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and homeowners
• Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Site preparation including attachment of boiler hose, prep of lay flat, laying out bypass hoses, and traffic control

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in trenchless installation, including robotic tap cutting preferred
• NASSCO PACP and MACPcertifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• Possess a Class A or B CDL license preferred; Need to be willing to obtain one
• Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
