Job summary

Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, an Azuria Water Solutions company, is hiring a CCTV Technician Operator in Decatur, IL to operate remote CCTV cameras and robotic cutting equipment for pipe rehabilitation projects. You will assist with pre/post video inspections, site prep, and ensure safety protocols in confined spaces.

Starting pay is $41.02 per hour, with potential travel across the Midwest, per diem while traveling, and company-provided PPE and safety gear. CDL Class A/B preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• 2+ years in outdoor construction, preferably with CIPP or water/sewer utilities.
• PACP certification preferred.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Willing to travel overnight, locally and regionally (Midwest).
• Lift up to 75 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate remote CCTV cameras to inspect sewer pipelines and determine repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized TV truck work area and monitor tool condition.
• Confined space entry per safety procedures to install, cut and grout liner ends.
• Maintain project paperwork for office, superintendent, and client.
• Troubleshoot and repair cameras, robots, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients, peers, and homeowners.
• Drive vehicles to haul crews and equipment.
• Site prep including hoses, lay flat, bypass hoses, and traffic control.

We are currently seekingCCTV Technician Operatorwithrobotic tap cutting experienceand who may also have avalid CDL licenseandPACP certificationto join our team inDecatur, IL. As a CCTV Technician in the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) industry, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of remote cutting equipment, pre and post-video inspection of pipelines, and supervision of confined space entry procedures. You’ll locate lateral connections within a pipeline, and assess the operating conditions and reinstatement of laterals after pipe rehabilitation. This position must also perform all duties of the Installation Technician as needed.

Starting pay is $41.02 per hour.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate remote closed-circuit cameras to record the internal condition of sewer pipelines and determine if cleaning and / or repairs are required prior to rehabilitation
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment within the TV truck including fluid levels and service condition of tools and equipment
• Confined space entry utilizing Insituform’s safety procedures to install, cut and grout the ends of the liner
• Maintain, complete and control paperwork related to a project for presentation to the office, superintendent and / or client
• Maintain, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform authorized field repairs to cameras, robots, and ancillary equipment such ascables, connectors, and reels
• Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and homeowners
• Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Site preparation including attachment of boiler hose, prep of lay flat, laying out bypass hoses, and traffic control

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Class A or B CDL Preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water or sewer utilities.
• PACP certification is preferred
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends based on business needs.
• Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally (across state lines), as work assignments dictate. Monday through Friday throughout the Midwest.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
