Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.
• Class A or B CDL preferred.
• 2+ years in outdoor construction, preferably with CIPP or utilities.
• PACP certification preferred.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel overnight regionally (Midwest).

Responsibilities

• Operate remote CCTV cameras to inspect sewer pipelines and determine necessary cleaning or repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in the TV truck and monitor tool condition.
• Perform confined space entry per safety procedures to install, cut, and grout liners.
• Complete and manage project paperwork for office and client review.
• Troubleshoot and repair cameras, robots, and accessories.
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients, and crew on site.
• Transport crews and equipment using trucks ranging from pickups to tractor-trailers.
• Prepare sites with boiler hose, lay flat, bypass hoses, and traffic control.

We are currently seeking CCTV Technician Operator with robotic tap cutting experience and who may also have a valid CDL license and PACP certification to join our team in Decatur, IL. As a CCTV Technician in the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) industry, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of remote cutting equipment, pre and post-video inspection of pipelines, and supervision of confined space entry procedures. You’ll locate lateral connections within a pipeline, and assess the operating conditions and reinstatement of laterals after pipe rehabilitation. This position must also perform all duties of the Installation Technician as needed.

Starting pay is $41.02 per hour.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate remote closed-circuit cameras to record the internal condition of sewer pipelines and determine if cleaning and / or repairs are required prior to rehabilitation
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment within the TV truck including fluid levels and service condition of tools and equipment
• Confined space entry utilizing Insituform’s safety procedures to install, cut and grout the ends of the liner
• Maintain, complete and control paperwork related to a project for presentation to the office, superintendent and / or client
• Maintain, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform authorized field repairs to cameras, robots, and ancillary equipment such as cables, connectors, and reels
• Work with supervisors, clients, peers, and homeowners
• Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Site preparation including attachment of boiler hose, prep of lay flat, laying out bypass hoses, and traffic control

What We Need From You:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Class A or B CDL Preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water or sewer utilities.
• PACP certification is preferred
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends based on business needs.
• Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally (across state lines), as work assignments dictate. Monday through Friday throughout the Midwest.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
