Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a CCTV Operator to perform CCTV video pipe inspections and related tasks on a full day schedule. The role involves operating CCTV equipment, assembling and maintaining gear, and ensuring safety during outdoor inspections across diverse sites.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, setting up sewer cleaning operations, and documenting inspection results. Must be able to work outdoors year-round and pass background checks and a drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Set up and operate sewer cleaning equipment.
• Operate handheld and hand-operated tools.
• Work outside in all weather conditions year-round.
• Operate CCTV and sealing units to inspect and seal defects in sewer lines.
• Place traffic cones and remove manhole covers; determine setup procedures.
• Locate line sections using maps; set up winches and cables; televise sewer lines.
• Operate and adjust camera controls; describe defects and record data.
• Prepare supplies for daily TV truck and assist with chemical mixing.
• Remove equipment after operations; clean and store gear.
