Job summary

Superior Hydrovac is seeking a CCTV Operator to support our CCTV video pipe inspection services. The role involves operating CCTV equipment, preparing gear, and performing inspections of sewer lines in outdoor environments across varying weather conditions.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least 1 year of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Strong safety focus and mechanical aptitude are essential for success in this non-exempt, field-based role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Set up and operate sewer cleaning equipment, including hoses and minor maintenance.
• Operate CCTV hardware and camera controls to inspect sewer lines.
• Place traffic cones and barricades; inspect manholes for setup.
• Record and describe sewer defects and gather required data.
• Clean and store camera gear and accessories after use.
