Job summary

C2 Technology Group in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Installation Technician to install and terminate IP and analog CCTV systems, NVRs and related cabling on varied sites. You will mount and aim cameras per designs, configure basic settings, complete end-to-end testing, and prepare installation documentation while coordinating with project managers and engineers.

Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining quality assurance reports.

Qualifications

1+ year experience installing CCTV or video surveillance systems.
Familiarity with IP-based camera platforms (Axis, Hanwha, Genetec, Milestone).
Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination.
Basic computer skills and MS Office.
Ability to read/write/speak English and perform basic math.
Valid driver\'s license.
Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures.
Verifiable experience and character references.

Responsibilities

Install and terminate IP and analog camera systems, NVRs, DVRs, and associated cabling infrastructure.
Mount and aim cameras in accordance with project designs and site conditions.
Configure basic system settings and perform end-to-end testing at project completion.
Conduct site surveys and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports.
