Job summary

C2 Technology Group in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Installation Technician to install and terminate IP and analog CCTV systems, NVRs and related cabling on varied sites. You will mount and aim cameras per designs, configure basic settings, complete end-to-end testing, and prepare installation documentation while coordinating with project managers and engineers.

Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining quality assurance reports.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience installing CCTV or video surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with IP-based camera platforms (Axis, Hanwha, Genetec, Milestone).
• Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office.
• Ability to read/write/speak English and perform basic math.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures.
• Verifiable experience and character references.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience installing CCTV or video surveillance systems
• Familiarity with IP-based camera platforms (Axis, Hanwha, Genetec, Milestone, or similar)
• Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination practices
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and perform basic math
• Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures
• Verifiable experience and character references required
