Job summary

Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a Security Systems Technician in Maryland to perform installation, maintenance, modification and testing of access control, CCTV and related hardware and software. You will handle data cabling, wiring, and equipment relocation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, including evenings in retail environments.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required; associates preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience installing and maintaining security systems.
• Knowledge of Access Control, CCTV & Alarm Systems.
• Must safely transport and operate company equipment (lift/trailer).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to work all shifts and rotating On-Call shifts.
• Evening shifts in retail environments may be needed.
• Team-oriented and professional demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and test access control, CCTV and security systems hardware and software.
• Install, test and repair data cabling, wiring and related hardware.
• Conduct testing and corrective actions to meet standards.
• Perform on-site work and emergency repairs; maintain records of equipment installed.
• Work with data, alarm and monitoring circuits; participate in on-call rotation.
