3cBSI is seeking an experienced CCTV/ Access Control Installation Technician who can serve our customers by installing and servicing systems and products. Our systems and products range from CCTV security cameras, card access, cloud-based systems, audio visual, and digital displays.

Responsibilities

• Installation of IP-based cameras.
• Installation of access control door hardware (card readers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, etc.).
• Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders; investigating complaints; conducting tests; and resolving problems.
• Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests.
• Maintains rapport with customers; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
• Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintains customer confidence while keeping service information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Must be a team player and have good communication skills, both oral and written. To be able to communicate with other technicians and project managers daily to ensure that all requirements are met.
• Qualified individual should have his/her own base set of tools and be familiar and comfortable with operating power tools (i.e., Power drills).
• Qualified individual should be familiar and comfortable with climbing up and down a ladder, working in a scissor lifts and working outdoors as well as indoors.

Requirements

• Installation experience in CCTV and Card Access. (ie: Eagle Eye, BRIVO, PDK, Hanwha, Axis, etc.)
• Strong analytics and troubleshooting abilities.
• Organized, punctual, and motivated self-starter
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Present 3cBSI professionally and be a team player.
• Respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
• Pass a health physical, random drug screening, and a criminal background check.
• Must be willing to travel out of town periodically.
• Basic understanding of networking, computers and information systems in general. Also need to know basic configuration of various camera and card access security systems, with access to specific technical help.
