Job description

CCP Compliance and Customer Care Profesional

Compliance & Customer Care Professional | Eclipse DOT | Remote (w/ Travel) Full Time

You’re Not Taking a Job. You’re Taking Ownership of People.

Imagine picking up the phone and the person on the other end already knows your name. Already knows your operation. Already knows you’ve got a run going out Thursday and that your quarterly IFTA filing is due in two weeks — and they’ve already started it.
That’s what our clients feel every single day.
And that’s what you get to be for them.

This Is the Role.

You are not a support rep. You are not a call center. You are not a ticket number.

You are the person a fleet owner trusts with everything that keeps them legal, moving, and protected. You are the reason they don’t lose sleep over a random audit or a missed clearinghouse query. You are the one who already handled it.

At Eclipse DOT, our Compliance & Customer Care Professionals manage the full DOT compliance picture for a portfolio of clients — and we’re talking real, meaningful relationships with up to a hundred or more companies who depend on you like you’re part of their team. Because as far as they’re concerned, you are.

Here’s What That Actually Looks Like.

You wake up knowing your clients. Not just their account numbers — their businesses. Their drivers. Their schedules. Their stress points. When Joe calls, you don’t say “can I get your account number?” You say, “Hey Joe — how was your kid’s baseball game last weekend? I’ve already got your IFTA filed, by the way.”

That’s the standard here. That’s the bar. And it’s one of the best feelings in the world when you clear it.

Day to day, you’re the one making it all happen:

  • Building and maintaining driver qualification files
  • Onboarding new drivers from start to finish
  • Ordering drug and alcohol tests and tracking results
  • Pulling motor vehicle reports
  • Handling clearinghouse registrations, annual queries, and follow-throughs
  • Filing IFTA returns every quarter — on time, every time
  • Coordinating annual permits, single trip permits, oversize and overweight permits
  • Keeping every account current, clean, and covered

But here’s the part that doesn’t fit on a list: you actually care. You notice when something’s off. You reach out before the client has a reason to worry. You communicate the way you’d want someone to communicate with you if the stakes were your business, your livelihood, your name on the side of the truck.

The Communication Standard.

We have a saying here: when you think you’re giving a client too much information, you’re probably still not giving them enough.

We don’t wait to be asked. We don’t send one-line emails. We don’t let clients wonder what’s happening with their account. We keep people in the loop because they deserve to be — and because that level of care is exactly what they can’t find anywhere else.

This is a remote role. But remote doesn’t mean disconnected. It means you need to be even sharper, even more proactive, and even more present than if you were sitting across the table from them. Our clients need to feel the relationship through the phone, through the email, through every single touchpoint.

If communication is your superpower, you’re going to absolutely thrive here.

You’ll Grow Here.

This isn’t a ceiling job. Eclipse DOT is scaling fast — new markets, new services, new technology — and the people who show up and lead with ownership are the ones that move up. We promote from within. We invest in the people who invest in us. The right person in this seat has a future here that goes a lot further than this posting describes.

The Culture.

We treat our clients like family. That means we actually know them. We care about their business like it’s our own. We celebrate their wins and we show up harder when things get tough.

That same energy lives inside our team. High standards, real accountability, no ego. We don’t do average. We don’t coast. And we don’t hire people who do.

What we do have: a team that genuinely loves the work, a company that’s going somewhere fast, and a culture where doing the right thing isn’t a policy — it’s just who we are.

You Might Be the One If…

You’re organized enough to juggle a hundred moving pieces without dropping one. You’re a communicator who makes people feel genuinely taken care of. You take ownership — not because someone’s watching, but because that’s who you are. You love building relationships and you’re the kind of person clients actually look forward to hearing from.

You don’t need to know everything about DOT compliance on day one. We’ll teach you. But you do need to be the kind of person who takes what they learn and makes it their own.
