REQUIRED:
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through a recognized organization (e.g., NHA)
EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED: N/A
PREFERRED:
1 year’s working experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR LICENSURE:
BLS provider status at hire or obtained within 6 months of hire
Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and the public
Basic keyboarding and computer skills.
Experience navigating electronic medical records (EMR) strongly preferred

May have occasional exposure to radiation during radiology procedures and to dangerous chemicals (cleaning and disinfecting agents).
