Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT/CHT) for the Davie Kidney Center in Mocksville, NC.

This full-time role supports dialysis treatment under RNs, with a four 10-hour shift schedule, starting early mornings and alternating Saturdays. Candidates must hold a valid CCHT/CHT certification, be able to work long hours, and be comfortable around blood and needles.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CCHT/CHT certification.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up the hemodialysis machine.
• Greet patients and collect treatment details; report concerns to the lead nurse.
• Prepare patient vascular access for treatment.
• Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis per policies.
• Record vital signs before, during and after dialysis.
• Calculate and document fluid removal.
• Cannulate and report difficulties to the lead nurse.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Check dialysis machine for malfunctions and report issues.
• Maintain infection control practices (PPE, hand hygiene).
• Ensure patient safety and assist with activities of daily living.
• Respond to emergencies as they occur.
• May need to move equipment and handle solutions up to 30 lb.
