Job summary

Health Systems Management is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT/CHT) at the High Point Kidney Center in High Point, NC. This full-time role supports dialysis treatment under RN guidance and requires CCHT/CHT certification and a valid BLS certificate.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a $2000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Training is provided; candidates must be able to work varied shifts and pass the training program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Must have valid CCHT/CHT certification.
• Employment depends on successful completion of training program.
• Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have or obtain BLS certification.
• Comfortable around blood and needles; able to cannulate.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up the hemodialysis machine.
• Greet patients and collect treatment details; report concerns to the lead nurse.
• Prepare patient vascular access for treatment.
• Initiate, monitor and discontinue dialysis per policies.
• Record vital signs before, during and after treatment.
• Compute and document fluid removal.
• Cannulate access and report difficulties to the lead nurse.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Monitor machine and report malfunctions to the lead nurse.
• Maintain infection control and PPE standards.
• Ensure patient safety and assist with activities of daily living.
• Respond to emergencies.
