Summary

The Clinical Supervisor of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services is responsible for providing supervision in a facility-based or community setting. The Clinical Supervisor ensures that clinical and administrative practices of staff meet agency expectations.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide supervision focusing on habilitative support for both adults and children.
2. Provide clinical supervision to staff ensuring client care adheres to best practice standards and principles of social work/counseling.
3. Maintain supervision logs, conduct chart reviews, assess staff practice, and address non-compliance issues through training.
4. Resolve service provision problems and staff conflicts.
5. Participate in and document staff training sessions.
6. Evaluate staff performance, participate in hiring, and oversee disciplinary actions.
7. Coordinate staff and client schedules.
8. Prepare and submit statistical reports as required.
9. Establish and maintain community contacts and referral networks.
10. Meet performance expectations and metrics within the program.
11. Keep up-to-date with program needs and potential expansions.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage the Behavioral Health Department, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and addressing staff issues, in accordance with agency policies and laws.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Ability and skill to train staff
• Training in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Model (for both Adults and Children)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training in Multisystem Family Therapy
