Job summary

California Behavioral Treatment Center in Los Angeles County is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings.

You will implement individualized behavior plans, collect data, and support treatment programs while collaborating with a compassionate clinical team. Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply and opportunities for advancement exist.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma – REQUIRED.
• Bachelor’s in ABA, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Communication Disorders, Sociology or related field (preferred but not required).
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass the TB test.
• Must pass criminal background check & fingerprint clearance.
• Spanish candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.

Position: Behavior Interventionist

Behavior Interventionists provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. This role involves working one on one with clients, helping them build communication, social, and self-help skills while collaborating with a supportive and experienced clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services to children and adolescents.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Support ABA treatment programs in home and school environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and education

Part‑time start: 15–20 hours per week to begin

Path to full‑time: Opportunity to grow into full‑time hours depending on center needs and your availability
