Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide therapy and support services in our outpatient department. You will join an interdisciplinary team and deliver group and individual therapy for adults, adolescents, or children with emotional or substance use concerns.

The role emphasizes CBT-based treatment plans, collaboration with the team, and discharge planning. A Master’s degree and a relevant license are required, with at least two years in healthcare

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology)
• Licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LPC-I, LPC, LMFT-A, or LMFT Required
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare field or combination education and experience required. Psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy in a group and individual setting
• Develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in concert with the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Demonstrates sound application of Cognitive Behavioral Theory and methodology
• Contributes effectively to discharge planning
