Clemson University in Clemson, SC seeks an CBSHS Assistant Business Officer to oversee complex college-level accounting duties under the Business Officer. The role supports college financial staff, serves as backup, and drives budgeting and forecasting efforts across CBSHS units.
Responsibilities include leading the financial team, preparing forecasts, managing accounting functions for the Dean's office, and coordinating annual budgets.

Under the direction of the Business Officer, performs complex college-level accounting duties, support college financial staff and serves as the backup to the Business Officer. A bachelor's degree with accounting courses and professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, banking or finance.
Experience required: 3+ years
Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.
Responsible for developing one or more departmental budget(s).

Expected Salary Range
$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 dependent upon experience
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Normal Operations - Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
