Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute in Washington, DC seeks a CBRN Analyst for a full-time role at the Pentagon client site. The position emphasizes synchronization of CBRN defense efforts across Services, Joint Staff, and interagency partners to advance modernization and readiness.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in CBRN defense, CBRND literacy, and proficiency with Access and Excel; a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent prior military experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in CBRN defense.
• CBRND technical literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Active Secret clearance required; must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize activities across the Military Services, Joint Staff, and interagency stakeholders.
• Develop and communicate the portfolio status to support senior leader awareness.
• Assess CBRN defense requirements using DOTmLPF-P analysis.
• Develop White Papers addressing CBRND requirements and challenges.
• Review governance policy and initiate revisions per DoW/HQDA guidance.
• Coordinate with Services and partners to support emerging requirements.
• Monitor and respond to HQDA and DoW tasks with technical accuracy.
