Job summary

Deutsche Bank's Corporate Banking Coverage (CBC) in New York seeks an Associate to support senior bankers, manage client relationships, and assist in deal execution across corporate finance products.

You will prepare pitch books, perform industry/credit analysis, and collaborate with MDs, Directors, and VPs in a hybrid environment, gaining exposure to cross‑border financing and transaction services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with strong academic credentials.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to simplify complex problems.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with Excel-based modeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist Corporate Bankers in managing existing client relationships and developing new clients.
• Develop proficiency across Corporate Finance products (Credit, DCM, FX, Rates, Asset Management, Cash Management, Trade Finance).
• Support industry and credit analysis by reviewing financial statements and investor presentations.
• Maintain internal reports: deal tracking, pipeline, credit commitments, capital outstanding.
• Understand competitive products and assist with pricing, cost/benefit analyses, and profitability models.
• Assist with pricing analyses and KYC, and conduct industry and company research.
