Job summary

Multnomah County seeks a Program Coordinator for the Office of Community Involvement (OCI) to support the Community Budget Advisory Committees (CBACs). The role includes administrative guidance, timely deliverables, and comprehensive onboarding for volunteers.

You will manage applicant screening, training, and staffing for CBACs, ensuring equity and effective engagement. The position is hybrid with Oregon residency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, political science, social sciences, or closely related field.
• Two (2) years of experience developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating training or educational programs.
• Two (2) years of experience in administration or program coordination; overseeing community engagement and volunteer systems, policy implementation, and data-tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative guidance and support to CBAC staff.
• Establish program timelines, reporting schedules, and deliverables for CBACs.
• Design and maintain CBAC participant management systems.
• Develop and distribute standardized templates and resources.
• Act as a central resource on best practices, compliance, and policy.
