Job summary

RGBSI's Zobility division is seeking an experienced CAX Administrator to manage and support engineering tool environments for EV battery system design. You will maintain CAD/CAE/CAM tools, PLM systems, licenses, and templates to keep mechanical, electrical, and thermal teams productive.

Collaborating with IT and engineering, you will ensure tool performance, data integrity, and streamlined workflows, while supporting upgrades, migrations, and configurations in a fast-paced, high-volume product

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• 5–8 years of CAD/CAE/PLM/CAX admin experience.
• Strong knowledge of CATIA V5/V6/3DX and PLM systems.
• Experience with license management and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support CAD/CAE/CAM tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6/3DX)
• Manage PLM systems (3D Experience), including user access, permissions, and data integrity
• Handle software installations, updates, licenses, and patches
• Create and maintain templates, macros, standards, and configured libraries
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering users
• Support data management, version control, and change workflows
• Assist in upgrades, migrations, and system integrations

• The role involves maintaining CAD/CAE/CAM tools, PLM systems, licenses, and templates, ensuring smooth operations for mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and support CAD/CAE/CAM tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6/3DX)


• Manage PLM systems (3D experience), including user access, permissions, and data integrity


• Handle software installations, updates, licenses, and patches


• Create and maintain templates, macros, standards, and configured libraries


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering users


• Support data management, version control, and change workflows


• Assist in upgrades, migrations, and system integrations

Requirements:

• B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, IT, or related field


• 5 - 8 years of experience as a CAD/CAE/PLM/CAX Administrator


• Good Knowledge about CATIA V5/V6/3DX or equivalent CAD tools


• Experience with PLM systems and software license management


• Good understanding of engineering workflows and data management

Preferred:

• Scripting knowledge (Python, VB, or similar)


• Experience supporting automotive engineering teams


• Familiarity with high-volume product development environments
