Job summary

CTDI is seeking a 1st-shift Test Engineer to support and maintain test systems for consumer electronics in a production line in Memphis. You will troubleshoot, analyze requirements, and generate documentation while helping upgrade software and hardware as needed.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's preferred) and 0–2 years of test engineering experience. Perks include weekly pay, health and vision insurance, 401(k), life and disability insurance, and

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Internship or project experience with test engineering.
• 0-2 years’ experience in Test Engineering and Production Shop floor experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain test systems for testing consumer electronics in production line.
• Troubleshoot test systems and determine root causes.
• Analyze technical requirements and effort for test systems and products.
• Generate engineering documents including schematics and flowcharts.
• Configure and calibrate test systems.
• Monitor tester performance and improve testing efficiency.
• Report software bugs to the development team.
• Implement new software into test systems and upgrade hardware/software as needed.
