Job summary

Harris Ranch Feeding Company in Coalinga, CA is seeking an entry-level Scales Clerk to support clerical, recordkeeping, and patron service tasks in a busy meatpacking operation.

You will greet visitors, compile daily scale and consumption reports, weight cattle and commodities, answer calls and emails, and prepare reports with accuracy and efficiency. High school diploma and 1 year of clerical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of clerical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs patrons and vendors.
• Compiles daily scale and consumption reports.
• Prepares and distributes cattle and commodities reports.
• Weight commodities and incoming/outgoing cattle.
• Answers phone calls and emails.
• Receives and distributes packages.
• Copies, faxes, filing, collates, and otherwise prepares reports.
• Scans documents into database.
