Job summary

American Foods Group, LLC is hiring a Cattle Payables Clerk at our Missouri plant. You will organize, reconcile, and issue payments for cattle purchases daily, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will input data into our systems (AS400), match invoices to harvest lots, set up vendors, verify liens, and maintain backup through scanned scale tickets. A strong attention to detail and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and related software is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work style.

Responsibilities

• Input data into system, match to harvest lots, and issue checks for cattle.
• Work with barn and cattle payable personnel to resolve issues.
• Set up new vendors, check liens, and other required documents.
• Organize and scan scale tickets for backup.
• Enter cattle receipts into AS400 accurately.
• Reconcile variances in cattle costs.
• Note: additional duties may be assigned as needed.
