Job summary

The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks an Associate Project Manager I for the Catskill Operations in Ashokan, NY. You will lead engineering activities, oversee regional capital projects, and support design, inspection, and procurement efforts for water infrastructure.

Responsibilities include coordinating with SCADA and IT teams, preparing technical specs, and delivering maintenance performance reports. Strong MS Office, AutoCAD, and CMMS skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook and AutoCAD.
• FE exam passed and/or EIT certification preferred.
• Experience with CMMS or similar work-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineering team leader for Catskill Operations maneuvers and activities.
• Oversee all Capital Projects in the Region including design input, review, and coordination.
• Initiate minor design and manage small projects within the Region.
• Initiate and support Job Order Contracts regionally.
• Participate in design, inspection, testing, drafting and tracing work.
• Support preparation of technical specifications and bid packages.
