Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technical Aide Intern to work with the lifecycle of technical documentation, manage engineering databases, and support the design dataset release process. You\'ll gain CATIA drafting skills and an insider’s look at aerospace workflows.

This is a stepping stone into other Engineering Intern positions. This onsite opportunity requires pursuing a BS in aerospace/mechanical/civil engineering, with CAD exposure, and located in the Wichita area;

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil Engineering degree. CAD exposure desired.
• Curriculum exposure in airframe design, static analysis, mechanics of materials, and/or a CAD application is desired.
• Preferred: Minor in Computer Science.
• Must be currently located in the Wichita, KS metro area for onsite multi-semester opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Search for technical documents in different relevant databases and release documents into ADS/EDS.
• Maintain and organize engineering documents, initiate issue/reference numbers, and review format and grammar.
• Coordinate drawing distribution and create Adobe PDF files of current documents.
• Develop CATIA skills to provide drafting support for the engineering team.
• Assist in creating and revising project documents and presentation materials.
