Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an Engineering Technical Aide Intern in Wichita to assist with lifecycle management of technical documentation, databases, and the design dataset release process.

You will gain exposure to CATIA drafting within real-world aerospace workflows, advancing from document handling to broader engineering support. Current students pursuing an engineering degree will apply MS Office and Google Suite while developing CAD and documentation skills in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a BS in Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil Engineering with CAD exposure.
• Experience with CATIA, ISAMI, PATRAN, NASTRAN preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
• Wichita, KS residency required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Search for and manage technical documents across multiple databases.
• Release documents into the ADS/EDS system and coordinate distribution.
• Create and revise technical documents and project materials.
• Support engineering teams and maintain signatures and office paperwork.
• Assist in maintaining documentation and coordination with stakeholders.
