Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising students, addressing diverse student needs, and collaborating with other staff while upholding safety and confidentiality. The role requires background screenings and alignment with the Faith and Moral Policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of substitute-teaching or teaching experience preferred.
• Must pass archdiocesan Safe Environment Requirements and background screening.
• Must pass Texas DPS Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse screening.
• Must pass Do Not Hire Registry background check screening.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Provides instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Supervises students in various school settings including cafeteria, hallways, and field trips.
• Attends to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Performs other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.
