Job summary

The substitute will uphold Catholic education values, supervise students, reinforce instruction, and collaborate with staff while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards. This temporary position supports the school during assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of substitute or teaching experience preferred.

• Adheres to Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees and school/Archdiocese policies.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters.
• Provides instructional reinforcement for individuals or small groups.
• Supervises students in the cafeteria, yard, specials, hallways, field trips, and activities.
• Attends to students’ physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Performs other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.
• Uses approved discipline procedures to address inappropriate student conduct.
• Collaborates with school personnel to support academic programming and the work environment.
• Adheres to safety training and protocols daily.
• Protects confidentiality of organizational information as required.
• Follows Code of Conduct and Faith and Moral Policy.
• Demonstrates teamwork and commitment to Mission and Vision of the organization.
