Job summary

The Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support classroom teachers in a Catholic school setting. You will help plan, guide, and educate students in a Christ-centered environment, assist with instructional materials, and support learning activities defined by the teacher.

Responsibilities include supervising students, maintaining confidentiality, following safety protocols, and acting as a team member to promote the Mission and Vision of the Archdiocese.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school procedures and policies.
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a variety of technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Lead small group activities and assist the teacher in planning instructional activities.
• Prepare instructional materials, supervise students, and maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety protocols daily.
