Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of successful work experience in a cathodic protection related field.
• Working knowledge of the CPDM Cathodic Protection Data Management System program or equivalent.
• Through successful work history, demonstrate the ability to serve as trainer for other technicians in core competency
• Demonstrate proficiency in all core disciplines
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate data toward corrosion control and pipeline integrity.
• Recommend, perform, and oversee mitigative measures.
• Document all related work associated with regulatory compliance and operating and maintenance procedures.
• Safely and efficiently install, calibrate and repair Cathodic Protection equipment.
• Coordinate with the Operations Department to minimize operational impacts.
• Perform periodic inspections of electrical isolation.
• Ability to accept supervision/direction and work cooperatively with others.
• Oversee construction and/or work activities performed by 3rd parties.
• Maintain completion status of ROW OQ defense training.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision.
