Overview

Position Summary: The Technologist II is responsible for equipment operation, quality assurance, and performing radiographic tests. Sets up and assists with cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsible for inventory management of equipment and supplies for the cath lab. Maintains statistical and financial data for the lab. Ensures the lab is appropriately staffed, including evenings and weekends. Collaborates with other healthcare team members to deliver patient care. Demonstrates a consistent commitment to a patient- and family-centered care model.

Minimum Qualifications: Five years of cardiac catheterization experience required, or a BS Degree in Radiology Technology with two years’ experience. Graduation from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program. Pediatric experience is required.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: AS or BS Degree in Radiology preferred. Current BCLS card, ARRT certification, CRT certification with CA State Department of Health, and Fluoroscopy Permit with CA State Department of Health are required.

Hours: Mon - Fri, 6:00 am - 5:30 pm, with rotating call (including weeknights and weekends).

Pay Scale Information

USD $89,440.00 - $154,284.00
