Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Medical Device Assembler, 2nd and 3rd shift in Carlsbad, CA. You will assemble catheter-based devices under a microscope in a cleanroom, following SOPs and GMPs. The role features a contract-to-hire path, weekly pay, and shift differential in a state-of-the-art facility.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in manufacturing or medical device assembly, strong dexterity, and ability to read detailed work instructions. Experience with catheter assembly is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing, production, or medical device assembly experience.
• Experience working under a microscope.
• Cleanroom experience preferred.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
• Experience with catheter assembly is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble catheter-based medical devices under a microscope.
• Perform precision assembly using specialized tools and equipment.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, and production documentation.
• Complete manufacturing and quality records accurately.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams.
• Utilize adhesives, UV curing systems, and other specialized equipment.
• Maintain compliance within a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
