Job summary

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, invites qualified Cardiac Technologists to perform invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology procedures. The role requires an associate degree in cardiovascular technology and RCIS certification within 12 months, with ACLS (and PALS where applicable) preferred.

Shifts are 10 hours day shifts in Sioux Falls, with 5:30am start times.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology is required.
• Certification as RCIS is preferred; ACLS and PALS are preferred per position.
• Ability to perform invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular procedures and electrophysiology.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, X-ray techniques and pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive cardiac, peripheral vascular diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology procedures using imaging, monitoring and recording equipment.
• Assess and treat cardiac and peripheral vascular disease with expert cardiac care and communication.
• Work with growth and development needs of diverse client populations, including pediatric to geriatric.
• Maintain compliance with RCIS timelines and ACLS/PALS requirements as applicable.
