Qualifications

• Associate's transcript showing completion of a Cath Lab degree.
• Cardiac Interventional Radiography (RI) ARRT within 60 days.
• Radiography (R) ARRT within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Receives and screens patients per procedure; performs pre-procedure assessment.
• Provides pre- and post-procedure education to patient and family.
• Assembles paperwork and completes chart documentation.
• Assists physician and scrub person during procedures.
• Administrates medications and therapies per physician orders.
• Operates diagnostic equipment to complete procedures.
• Contributes to policy/procedure input for Cath Lab.
• Maintains hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Maintains transducer balance to hemodynamic system.
• Recommends interventions to attain expected outcomes.
