Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. Under supervision, you will assist with technical aspects, operate imaging equipment, and help ensure patient safety and sterile technique.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree, current AHA ACLS, RCIS within six months of hire, and ARRT TX RT(R) or RCIS as applicable. On-site, 40-hour work weeks with 10-hour shifts and call.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire date.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.
• Licenses and/or Certifications, Required and Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Monitors patient status and interprets basic/advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs during procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction and assists as scrub tech.
• Assists with circulator duties and patient transport to the department.
• Prepares lab for procedure and maintains sterile technique.
