Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. You will operate imaging equipment, support the physician as a scrub tech, and monitor patient status throughout the procedure.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree in science/healthcare, current ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT TX RT(R) or RCIS eligibility. 40-hour weeks with 10-hour shifts and call are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction during procedures.
• Assists as scrub tech and circulator; monitors patient status during procedures.
• Transports patients and maintains sterile technique; troubleshoots equipment.
