Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist I to support cardiac catheterization procedures, prepare the lab, and operate imaging equipment. The role includes documenting patient data and hemodynamic measurements while upholding aseptic technique and safety standards.

The candidate will collaborate with the medical team, ensure proper procedure documentation, and serve as radiation safety representative during X‑ray usage. Training on advanced cath lab tools is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or healthcare‑related field.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies (Leader of Self/Others/Leaders).
• Ensures major equipment is operational and documents quality control.
• Participates in daily room checks and stocking of supplies.
• Accesses daily patient schedule and relevant information for procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and patient safety standards during procedures.
• Trains to operate cath lab imaging, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, and related equipment.
• Acts as radiation safety representative during X‑ray usage.
• Supports department and team through patient transport and knowledge sharing.
