Job summary

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the catheterization labs. You will assist physicians, operate specialized equipment, and care for patients throughout the procedure.

The role requires ACLS/BCLS certifications, an accredited program background, and relevant credentials with a 2-year ARRT/RCIS credential window. A supportive team and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within specified timelines.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or related program.
• Credential options include ARRT-R, CCT, RCIS, RDCS, RT, LPN, CST, or Paramedic.
• RCIS or ARRT must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic/therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the cath lab.
• Operate specialized equipment during procedures and maintain sterile environment.
• Provide direct patient care throughout procedural process and ensure safety.
• Support angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements as part of the cath lab team.
