Job summary

Lumera Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our professional network across hospitals and centers. You will assist physicians during catheterization, operate specialized equipment, and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, monitoring vitals, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures. Certification in BLS/ACLS and RCIS/ARRT preferred; 1–2 years Cath Lab experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology, radiology, or related field.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification preferred.
• State license as required.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, monitor vital signs, ensure safety.
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Document procedures, patient data, and equipment use accurately.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
