Job summary

Lumera Healthcare Group is seeking a Cath Lab Technician to join our professional network in Plano, TX. You will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, operate Cath Lab equipment, and deliver high-quality patient care in hospital and specialty cardiac centers.

We value teamwork, precise technical skills, and the ability to monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS) and 1–2 years Cath Lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology, radiology, or related field.
• RCIS or ARRT certification preferred.
• State license as required.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining processes, monitoring vitalsigns, and ensuring safety.
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment use.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
