Lumera Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our professional network in Chicago. You will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, operate specialized equipment, and provide high-quality patient care across hospital and specialty cardiac centers.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment operation, monitoring vitals, documentation, and collaboration with cardiology teams.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced cath lab.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, monitor vital signs and ensure safety.
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment use.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
